I am a transplanted Midwesterner moving around the country. I am lucky enough to experience America for what she has to offer. From seeing the Great Lakes, to hiking the Tetons, exploring the desert, and relaxing in the Sierras, The goal of this site to bring some of the remote and beautiful areas of this country to those who are not able to experience them or to encourage others to venture out there and see what I have been fortunate to see. America is more vast and diverse than I ever could have realized. It is difficult to bring it to life in such a way that a website can do it justice but I hope if anything this site will result in its readers being inspired and feeling a sense of adventure to explore this country.
From backpacking the mountains, to bouldering in the desert, to snowboarding, I hope to bring as much to readers as possible. There is always a new place to explore, an adventure to be had, and memories to be made. Everything from week long trips to day hikes are included. I will also do my best to have the most detailed trip and trail reports that I can include.
Some background about me. I've backpacked for over ten years and a few places I've been fortunate enough to backpack include the Grand Tetons, Sierra Nevada Mountains, Pictured Rocks, and Isle Royale. I am fairly new to bouldering, I have been snowboarding for 8 years, and I am a below average photographer (but it is the best way to visually document all the trips).
